aftermarket steering wheel?

anybody ever put a different steering wheel on their truck? i hate the style,look,color,feel.. just about everything about the stock steering wheel. has anyone gone aftermarket or do the 05+ steering wheel fit?

 

I've seen baja trucks with light weight aluminum steering wheels.


It looks like hell coming out of the steering column, but whatever.

 

i have looked into this briefly and the biggest problem i see is finding something with an airbag that fits.

 

You're probably not going to find much in the way of aftermarket with a airbag.most aftermarket steering wheels are universal therefore to do an airbag to fit all makes and models.. not to mention aftermarket are usually used for race and off road applications and don't have airbags.

On that note I'm sure you maybe could get a 2g tacoma wheel to work but not totaly sure on the process
