    Hey Guys,

I wanted an opinion on my wheel/tire setup that I'm wanting to purchase...well actually wanting santa to purchase. I've been looking on the Discount Tire Direct website and they offer the MK 6 in a -10 offset and -12 offset. I am planning on the 3 inch OME lift at tax time....and bushwacker flares later next year. I also like the wider stance that I've seen on some taco's with the -10 offset with these rims. My concern is whether the -12 offset is even possible, and if so would the -12 look better with the bushwackers in the future or would the -12 offset put more stress on the suspension? In that case I would stick with the -10 offset. Also, I will be running BFG A/T 285/70/17's. No hard core off-roading by the way either...maybe light trails...occasional camping trip.

Anyone see an issue with this setup before I spend this wad of cash?

Should I plan on new UCA's as well? I've heard different opinions after searching this forum on them...also heard it depends on the truck itself.

I also heard the same on the diff drop...

Any advice is welcome...thanks in advance!

Just ordered the wheels...should be here around Wednesday. I appreciate all the views guys and no replies. I know a lot of you hate the same old questions but I didn't feel like this one classified as such. I just needed a little help, opinions, knowledge...etc. I have read and read and read threads on here and decided on the above. I hope I made a decent choice. Thanks.

I'm running the 0 offset mk6 17x8 on my second gen and the tires sit just a tad past the body lines. Looks perfect IMO .

-10 offset will just stick out just another 10mm further out . All depends on the look your trying to achieve .
