Running Lights Out

About 3 years ago I installed the slimcubby HID's. No issues for about a year and a half and my fog lights went out. Wasn't sure if it was a bulb or ballast, but then I had a headlight go out shortly there after. I ended up pulling off all the HID's and installed silverstars in my headlights. The headlights work fine but for some reason the running lights will not turn on? Anybody have any ideas what would cause no running lights to work?
