A/C and Heat takes forever to heat/cool?

i've noticed last summer and this winter (first winter and summer for my truck)
that the air conditioning and heat takes quite a while to chill the car, and heat the car, i remember having my cousins sitting in the back complaining on a hot day about how they cant get any cold air. and sometimes my dad complains about how the truck doesnt heat up as fast as our camry.

ideas/suggestions?

Does the vehicle run well ? I would have the thermostat checked to see if it is operational at the set temperature, and the compressor checked to see if it needs recharged. My heat works real well but I admit that my wife's A/C in her Subaru is a lot colder, but mine is what I would say "nice" or "acceptable"

 

i guess that's a good idea. but the darn truck is less than a year old

 

Yeah that would be disappointing, but it would be covered by warranty.

 

i wish everything that'll break in the future would tell me now so i get it covered.

but yeah.
i guess i'll roll in to the Dealership sometime.

 

Wow you didn't order that with your new truck ? Mine was extra but worth it !

 

Haven't used the AC yet but I was happy to see how quick mine heats up.

Dirty cabin filter maybe? Have you checked that?

 

well the truck is less than a year old, i highly doubt that the filter would get dirty that fast.
