Ok so i have done my research, and after Christmas maybe spring time i want to do a lift... and i want to do the bilstein 5100 in front and aal in rear... So from a lot of my reading if you have the 3 leaf pack you get one size if you have a 4 leaf pack you get another... I have 5 leafs... Cant find much info on this.. i bought this truck used so i have no idea what extra leaf there is.. Im thinking it is a heavy duty leaf due to the company that had my truck before was a corporate truck that carried heavy loads... So heres the total question.. I want to do a 2.5 lift front and even in the rear, no sag or stance... right now it sits even... what AAL do i need to make it sit right? would a 2.5 AAL with the Bilstein's set at 2.5 be right?

Take a pic of the rear leafs so we can see whats on there. If its level now you can do billies at 2.5 but will more than likely need new UCA's to get the alignment correct. Go with Light Racing UCA's if you are wanting to get a cheaper set. If not try Camburg or ICON. I wouldn't add another AAL if it has one already. You probably would wanna go with a 3 leaf progressive from Icon or a whole new leaf set from Deavers or Wheelers. More people will chime in soon.

What shocks do you have in the rear and are you going to upgrade them?

If you want new coils in the front you can go with OME and billies set at 0 for a 2.5" lift or billies at .85 and the toytec coils. Some will say not to pair the billies with OME but lots of people run them this way.

Hmmmm not sure what those are? Are those helper springs? Someone else will have to chime in on that setup. Im not real sure if those lift you or not or just for added weight support?

Good find never seen those before. That's exactly what they are. So I guess he could still do an AAL but I would think he rear end would be stiff as shit with all of that? Should he go to a new leaf pack?

EDIT: actually looks like 3 leaf with the two helper springs. Looks like he has the 4leaf with the TSB am I correct plus the helper springs. Those things are rated for an extra 1500lbs wowwww

Are you sure you don't have anything up front if you are level?

While looking at it i dont see anything (IE spacers ect.) up front. and stock shocks up front.

OK so i have helpers so is this going to affect putting in the AAL. I really dont have the money to buy a whole new pack to do a lift.

If it was me i'd get the AAL for the 4 leaf pack, and remove the helper springs, they provide no lift IIRC. just my .02

X2^ remove the helper pack and get a 2.5" aal. Rear will be done if you don't want shocks at this time.

I wouldn't keep the helpers unless you are loading the rear of your truck down.
