    None yet...just warmin' up
I have the "official" Toyota Tacoma Door Sill Protector package (four, black adhesive strips) w/instructions. It mentions "3M Prep Solvent-70" for cleaning the area first. Will any good cleaner do that won't harm the paint, such as "KrudKutter?"
I also saw them pictured with advice on removing the door thresholds in a post on "Installing DRLs." Nice-looking pieces that will enhance the look of the door opening, plus cover 141K miles of use.
Does anyone have experience installing the protectors?

I would probably just wash the area like I would the rest of the truck, then wipe it down with a rag and a little alcohol. Let dry, stick them on and enjoy.
