I jacked up the back of my tacoma the other day to check a growl in my rear end. I started my truck and put it drive, stopped a few times, and was done. The next morning I get in and the red break light in my dash is on.

For the life of me I can't figure out how I could park my truck, and everything is good then wake up and the red lights on. Weird right?. It did get really cold but thats it.

Any suggestions what could be causing this?

I tried disconnecting the battery for a little bit to see if it would reset, but no change. Fluid is good, sensors appear fine, and the switch under the e-break looks ok as well.

the fluid has to be right at the "FULL" line. if its a little low, it can trigger the light.

This ^^^^ And also, if you have ABS, you can trigger a code when driving with the rear end off the ground.

Got my truck back today from the dealer, and they just did a reset for the break light, but found that I stretched a wire to my wheel sensor on the front. It pulled the wire from the pug in. 60.00 plus 95.00 for install. I took it home pulled the harness, and soldered it back in. Good as new.
