So what's the secret to getting an exhaust for a DCLB? Seems like we're being left out of all the fun. URD doesn't make one (that I know of) and a majority of the exhausts that cut off over the rear axle are only for the DCSB and smaller :(

Anyone wanna prove me wrong? I'd really like to get some headers (which is easily doable DT) but also a nice exhaust. I could get a custom one if need be but it'd be nice to get one that's engineered for my truck.

    Questions, comments, concerns, violent disagreements???

My .02 cents, AFAIK the front end of the DCLB is the same as the SB. I believe you only gain your extra length aft of the rear wheels, the wheelbase might be a little longer. With that said, if your going to purchase headers and a y-pipe, grab them up and install them yourself. Pick yourself up a muffler and/or resonator then take a quick jaunt down to your local muffler shop and have them weld you up your new exhaust. It should run you about 50$ or so for labor and materials. The shop I took mine to had it done in about 1 hour but your experiences could vary. Bottom line, don't fall into the cookie cutter bolt on' but instead customize your own. You'll have fun doing it too, you can take my word on it.

The wheelbase is longer and the extra length is forward of the rear wheels

Well that still shouldn't affect a header/y-pipe install if the OP pulls the trigger on those mods. And it shouldn't affect the cost or time to install at a local exhaust shop.

Thanks guys. I had a feeling I'd be in that boat. I'll have to look into it some more and figure out what to do.

Love my Gibson cat back exhaust. Low rumble at low rpms and quiet at cruising speed. 2.5" piping which is perfect for my future blower down the road
