Got a 2014 trd offroad en route from Texas as we speak. Spent past 20 years in a 2wd taco or "newest" 1996 ram. Never owned anything like this before.

Tho I test drove various, truth is anything with a working A/C is going to impress me... Kind of the joke with my wife. Its this forum plus my mechanic (who is buying my 96 dodge) that made my decision. Now I'm able to get my first 4wd.

Few months of lurking, but i've locked in a deal... Will assume talking dealer price etc is not part of the rules. But I'm now pleased at what we closed at. Just wanted to say thanks. Truth is its more truck than I ever had, or will probably need, but I'm excited as all hell to have something i can rely on for traveling and know I got a decent zombie hunting truck.

I may drop in every few months to ask questions, but so many great stickies and info it may mostly be to ask differences with this newer model. Hope I'm doing this right.

    cheers

edit: my math of 20 years is odd, i should include the 82 cutlass supreme, which i replaced with a small toyota pickup around '02, and then gave to my mother for her older but lower mileage 96 ram, b/c she was getting old and the little toyota fit her well. Sorry, maths.
