drive shaft

Hello my name is Douglas and I have a 2004 Toyota Tacoma. I am having trouble with how to remove the universal joints. I don't see any retainer rings and it looks like they are sealed in some way. This is the original drive shaft. I have a sound like 2 pcs of sheet metal are knocking against each other when driving. Any help on this would be great. Thanks

 

Which joint are you looking at replacing? Rather than copy a bunch of other threads, do a search using the search option on the upper right of the forums. Type in the words "universal joint" and you will find many threads that discuss replacement, as well as part numbers depending on which one you are replacing. And welcome to TW!
