Regarding Paint: We use a matte clear over a base provided by the stock color. We disassemble the trim and in the case of the trucks, we remove the bed to prep and spray behind the cab. The underhood and jams are not sprayed with the clear; we mask and wrap the matte clear behind the shut-lines; keeps a clean look, no flaking paint later and it's easy to keep clean. We do not use flat or matte paint. The matte clear is easy to repair, even if you have to spray body color first. Clean-up and detailing is pretty easy using Windex or a spot detailer like Mothers.

The cool part is that this looks like nothing you have ever seen...it has a reflectively of the base metallic that flares when in direct sunlight and it goes completely flat at night or in the shade.

If I won the lottery, I would pay to have my truck painted that color. Sooo sick!!!!

Poke - Wounder what the cost for a MATTE re spray would cost. Thats all that was really done right? Scuff the original finish with an orbital sander, then spray matte and bake.

Tape, bed off, normal prep work/
