Just wondering if anyone could lead me in the right direction for what brand and how big of a winch to get. 2wd gets me in trouble 3udu2agu_f7ca440476503175ed403178f6298ae22dd4a51d.jpg

Any 8k lb winch with a removable solenoid will give you good results, some are better than others but I would do some research and read reviews.

You can get a 10,000lb smittybilt for $399. I've never used one though so I can't vouch for their quality...

I'd stick with warn m8000. Even though there are many running the xrc, smittybuilt, and the other brands... Warn is legendary and won't fail you. Both my uncles run warns on there trucks and it has out lasted anything I've heard of and they are older than me.... The winches. I'm 20 going on 21. I just bought the new zeon8 for better performance and the IP68 resistance for weatherproofing.
