    Hi all,

I am planning on installing a subwoofer system and a blue sea fuse block. Is the best way to power the fuse block, and amplifier to sub, just to run 2 separate wires from the battery?

I plan on using 4 Gauge wire for the amp/sub

and possibly 8 gauge wire for the fuse block, is that even necessary?

also, I am planning on getting a 120W LED light bar, and I know it is recommended to use a relay, but each channel on the blue sea fuse block is rated for 30A and the switch I am going to be using can handle 20A, so I was thinking of not using the relay (too many wires from battery) and so what gauge primary wire do you guys think is necessary?

Well it doesn't make much sense to run 8 awg to your fuse block and 4 awg wire for your sub while trying to hook sub up to the fuse block.

8 awg is a smaller wire than 4 awg

Assuming the amp you will be using probably requires a larger fuse than your fuse block can handle i suggest running a dedicated wire for the amp.

hey there, sorry my post might have been confusing, what I plan to do is run 4 gauge to battery with fuse to amp

then probably run 8 gauge to from the battery with circuit breaker to the blue sea fuse block, I was basically asking is it even necessary to run 8 gauge to the blue sea fuse block (100A max) or is like 10 or 12 ok?

also, how thick of wires does my led light bar need (120W=10A)
