joint or seperate checking account

well we had to save room for y'all..

 

Which is fairly easy as the miniscule "beds" you guys have don't take up much space.

Joint checking, joint savings, and personal checkings

Money gets put into joint checking. Bills and combined expenses come out of that. X amount goes to savings, and remainder gets split to personal checking...she can buy what she wants, I can buy what I want. Personal accounts are only there for us to have money to blow on personal stuff and presents.

I make more than she does, but it's a partnership. We don't split bills 50/50, as we find that stupid. That will get you frustrated easily. Combined we make a certain amount and that's what WE make.

I'll be in the same boat in another year or so. As of now I pay everything.

That's a good way to do it. We're attempting the same thing. (It would be more fitting if we had one that was a beer and a coffee instead of two beers.)

 

Yeah. Taking some time off from work while still at work to hang out with the dog. Beer is a necessity as of late.

 

She seems good today. Just got done with a big ass fillet, and on to napping.

 

I'd like to think she's always had what she needs, and then some.
