The Addco is 7/8" dia. while the Hellwig is 3/4" dia. Too much rear sway bar means less inside traction on a turn when hitting small bumps on the outside. The 3/4" bar has just enough twist for my liking.

I got small kids and a small wife so I can't lift the truck. Only mod I'm planning is headrest dvd for the kids. I've actually installed running boards and tailgate extender. Next mod maybe a roof rack and replacing of the gas cap with a lockable one.

Sure you can. You just have to add collapsible swim ladders under the doors. They're available from any West Marine or Boaters World. :D

Very nice man, are they the ones that stick out or are they closer to the body? I cant remeber who makes what these days, i blame it on owning the X-Runner for two years.

Thanks, They fit up against the body close in height, as in no lower than the frame. They stick out far enough to actually use. You can't get your foot between the truck and the bar, and they ought to prevent some door dings. I had the same one's on my last truck and they still looked good after 9 years.

Thanks, looks almost like a starting point right. How's your project coming along. Any kind of time-line for finish.

It'll never be done, but it should be on the road in the next 3 weeks! The cage is about finished, the harnesses are mounted, and the seats should be in by this Saturday. I might even have a windshield soon! :p

The fuel cell is gonna be fab'ed by the guys at the shop and the bladder will be outsourced to FuelSafe. Since we have no idea what kind of turn-around time FuelSafe has on custom work I'll most likely drive without the bladder for awhile just to get the truck rolling again.

My biggest hold-up right now are the skidplates. Bud's been behind in shipments and I need the IFS skidplate installed before the shop can fab a bumper skidplate to meet it. To add to a touch of the cool factor, the race team logo will be waterjet cut into the skidplate. I needed to have holes cut for airflow anyway, so we're gonna make it with some style!

I just realized that this is a general mod thread! Now I don't feel like I'd be hijacking someone else's build, so here are some of my cooler mods of late:

    IMG_2281_275896d31bd270dfbb5277d4be24a36d42ed25e9.jpg
Hi-lift is mounted between the two spares.

    IMG_2284_565ce7ac67fdab34445bc2c42d95807c0e6e8fd0.jpg
The harness tabs are in and the cage gussets are just about done.

And the cab has that fighter-jet feel. Lighted switches add 7 hp, right? :burnrubber:
