Not bad for a full sized truck. Much better than I got in my last full sized.

Just what their website said the MSRP was. I'm not in the market for one so I have no idea what the dealerships are asking for them.

If I Just needed a full size Truck I would go Tundra hands down but if I was needing to do a lot of towing I would then go for a Chevy or GMC and get that Dirtymax/Alison combo. I'm not a big fan of the independent front suspension. feel that over all the the GM option is a better one. My father is a Diesel Mechanic. He spent most of his career working on on larger truck but in the past few years he was working for a paving company maintaining there heavy equipment and on occasion fixing the crews trucks. He never had any complaints about the Cummins motor just the quality of the truck that they put it in. His biggest complaint about the ford was injector Failure(Neither he or I could Tell you if this due to poor owner maintenance but he did have to replace a lot of them). There weren't to many GM's running around his company for him to work on so he never had much to say good or bad about them. He drives a Silverado 1500 extended cab with an 8 foot bed with a 5.3 liter.

tail gate lock, rear view mirror bracket, hood hinge brackets, and the list grows.
Tundra almost went that way. Why? Because it's a Toyota had GMs don't like them any more
