you got me beat. I was slammed twice by cars doing over 50 in the past 20. None were my fault.

I also started collecting dings/dents. I'm up to three now :(

Aaron, this is a smart idea. Is the bed mat the stock mat? And where'd you get the Y strap?

Thanks Darcy, it's still holding up well! Have had this set up for about 10 months. It's been through the hot Virginia Beach summer and NY snow. No rusting or malfunctioning of the ratchet strap yet. The black nylon has faded a little but that was expected. No wear on the straps either.

The bed mat is indeed the OEM Toyota mat....picked up the Beard Y-Strap from racereadyproducts.com for $60.95 + $12 shipping. :D

Ironman Foam Cell Pro suspension, Anso black headlight housings, l.e.d. headlights, black taillights, Demello steel front bumper with highlight 7" l.e.d. round lights, Diode Dynamics Amber SS3 Pro lights, Hooke Road steel rear bumper with Nighlight reverse lights, Hooke Road roof rack, Ultima Aluminum toolbox, Weathertech floor mats, EGR in channel ventshades, Snorkel, K&N air filter and cabin air filter, 265/75/16 Cooper ST Maxx, Firestone ride rite airbags, Bentrodders bed reinforcements, too many other things to remember.
I have a Warrior Products Prerunner in bed spare tire carrier if you'd be interested instead of strapping the tire in, I don't use it since I made my own steel rear bumper and swing out tire carrier. Email or pm me if interested, for some reason I can't link the ad.

After I unbolted the mounting plates and just had it sitting in bed for reference.
