Another new Texan

Hey all,

Just picked up a lightly used 2010 access cab base model yesterday morning. Love the truck so far, but I have a question. My truck as power locks as all access cabs do, but it did not include any remotes for keyless entry. Is it possible that it don't have that option or did the dealer just not give them to me? Also, I see in the reviews for the truck that the 4-banger is rated to tow 3500#s. Is that the rating for the automatic only, or is that for all 4-bangers?

I don't think base model Tacos have remotes for keyless entries. I think that option is standard on next tier models. I'm sure if you really want it you can get it installed at your local Toyota dealership. (Like with all things, if you want more stuff added - it's gonna cost ya.)

Thanks for the greetings and info everyone. I'm loving the truck more each time I drive it. Already ordered a few goodies for it:

Aftermarket proximity key fob & unit
Stereo install kit
& some OEM floor mats

Still want to get:

Bigger tires (already searched and read up on how big I can go)
Install my subs, not sure how I want to do the box yet
