I have an 06 Taco and I'm having to do a lot of different maintenance items on the Truck and I'm a little strapped for cash. I currently have a OME lift on the truck with 885 springs and shocks front and add-a-leaf on a non-TSB rear with OME rear shocks. Anyways, my driver rear shocks has blown out and I need to replace. This lift is about 5 years old so I'm thinking I probably need to replace both shocks.

I know about the Bilsteins, OME, various reservoir shocks, etc... but I'm looking for something a little more affordable.

It looks like the OME rear shock specs are roughly 14" collapsed 24" extended. Bilsteins 5100 are 14" collapsed 23" Extended. I see the FOX shocks are 15.5" collapsed 26" Extended.

Does anybody know the actually specs or range I need to be in for an aftermarket shock to not bottom or top out?
