Yeah, you need tie downs low in the front...preferrably on the side walls of the bed. Front wheel in corner and three tiedowns and the bike is SOLID. I like it better than straight in. It doesn't bounce-hop, slide or anything weird. It's easy to do by yourself too...once you realize to set up the straps first and do them in the right order. :D

Magnaflow 2.5" Exhaust, Satoshi Style Grill, Led floods behind Grill, Firestone ride-rite airbags (rear), blue sea fuse block. Custom bed bar with shovel mount and utility led lights
Firestone ride-rite airbag suspension. I don't know if you have problems bottoming out,but the first couple years of the 2nd gens had really bad rear suspension. There is a TSB for it to beef up the leaf pack. I love my airbags for towing and whenever I fill up the bed (Not hard to do).

    Lots baby!
Little bit of everything you are talking about.

    Bed rug.
    Extra D Rings.
    Custom Bed lights.
Tilting Soft cover, that easily removes.

Thanks. As for an "interrupter-switch" for when you want to have a tailgate party...

I just have to turn the headlight switch (on the turn-signal stalk) to OFF if I want "mood-lighting".

    ;)

This is what I have and it works great. One or two bikes in the back no problem. Not a fan of BAMF ones, don't like the weird slots instead of standard holes.

Should I be concerned about bending the tailgate on my 2014 TRD? I have plans to drive my Skidoo Summit from a ramp into the bed with the tailgate down ever so often.
Upwards of 525 pounds total weight full of fuel. Granted that the weight is distributed at three points, (each ski, and track).Skis will just fit between the wheel wells, so the bulk of the weight would be a foot or so from each side of the tailgate.
