Hey all first post here and looking at getting into a Tacoma,

I found and test drove a 2007 DC TRD O.R. with 150k on the ticker. Has a topper and bed liner, as well as the premium audio. Everything looked good and it didnt seem to have anything I could tell wrong with it.

Whats everyone oppinoins on buying something like this?

Oh and its only gonna cost about 13k.

    Let me here you thoughts,
    Hawk

    Do dents and scratches count?
As long as the truck has a good maintenance history and clean car fax.

I would check to see how many owners have had it and what states it was owned in and have it checked for rust, also have your own mechanic check it out good.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
All of the above also you say it has a bed liner ? The Tacoma has a composite bed so it may look like a liner. Just making sure you are aware that the bed is not metal its plastic.

We all know tacomas last forever with good maintenance. That being said, i would get as much history on the truck as possible and make sure it's not full of rust. That price isn't too terrible, but i guess it is also relative to where you live.

Bought my 06 with 173,000 and now have 185,000. No problems, except it needs the transmission quil upgrade, (it's a 6 speed) but all the 6 speeds are gonna need it sooner or later.

Check the frame for excessive rust. Some of the 2005's are already having the same rust issues that the 1st Gen Tacomas had. Otherwise, what everyone else said above.
