2013 pinging issues and towing

    It's not the gas. No other brand has this issue. My Turbo mustang has made over 1000hp with the stuff and so has many many others.

    I would have switched my Lightning over to it also if it was more available where I live. E85 will support some serious power.

    My yota has always made noise and not sure your problem is with detonation. You should be able to read your plugs and tell.

    I have a 2012 TRD Sport.. it pings under light throttle. not all the time. It is winter here, it did it in summer.. dealer suggested non-ethanol fuel, it got a little better, but it is not gone and still does it.. between erratic downshifting, easily scratching paint, it reminds me of how Chevrolet used to make cars.. for 29k I thought I was buying the best truck I would ever own.. Very Disappointed.. sure I am upside down in it, so hoping they will come up with some fixes for their problems I can only pray for. PS.. it didn't do any of these symptoms for the first 20k miles. for the last 10 it has done both..
