Looking for a new nav unit, have previously bought new models off of ebay and they have worked seemlessly. Factory Refurb saves you about 40% of the already discounted price. Curious if anybody knows if there is a real difference from the refurb to the new besides being a flaw from the factory and them correcting it.

I have bought refurbished phones and a game console and the worked like new products. As long as it was done by the manufacture you should be fine.

the term refurbished always seems to make me shy away, just getting a feeler, would hate to waste money then it dies out in a month, year, whatever and im kicking myself for trying to save a buck.

Sounds good to me, kenwood makes good products and as long as they did the repairs it should be good.

depends on the seller, the one i put in the link is like 2 weeks they'll full refund, after 2 weeks they fix it/exchange. just have to work fast once ordered i guess. of course some of them, you can buy a warranty, but I dont trust nonfactory/aftermarket warranties, like the ones they try to sell you from the used car lot... to many circumstances and situations there not covered.
