Hey all. I am thinking about using some rattle can "Duplicolor Bed Armor" to protect against chipped paint. I pulled my mudflaps a little while ago 'cause they were often in the way, I then started noticing a bunch of chips in my paint from what i assume to be rocks that the flaps used to catch. I don't have sliders, fwiw. I want a somewhat textured appearance, and have liked some of the pictures of the product I have seen posted here. Can anyone point out some glaring reason, if one exists, not to spray 'dat before i apply something that i can't remove?

    Merry Christmas Y'all!
