We had a pretty crazy ice storm up here in Southern Ontario a couple days ago...Over 300,000 people lost power to their homes.

Here is what the Tacoma looked like the day after!

Still there are close to 200,000 people without power and probably won't have power until this weekend. I feel sorry for the families that have to spend Christmas in the dark and cold!

Merry Christmas to all the tacomaworld.com'ers!!

Had it running for about 45 minutes with the heat on blast! Then slowly removed sheets of ice...Important to remove it from the roof cause if the wind catches it doing about 65mph on the highway....well, I wouldn't want to be the dude behind me!!! [IMG]

When it comes to freezing like this there isn't really much you can you do. You can scrape the windows. It's pretty much wait until it melts. It's not really cold enough(like arctic air) so it shouldn't be a huge cold start. Again, it's pretty much just wait it out. You wouldn't want to drive anyways. There is going to be ice everywhere.

Mine has looked the same in Dallas TX and Oklahoma City OK twice in less then a month. The Dallas ice storm I had about 2 inches of ice on the windshield.

We used to get that stuff all the time in Portland as well. So icy you just huddle around the fireplace, have a hot chocolate or toddy and wait. maybe you can drive in it, but it's the other guy I worry about. Nice pics.

    Merry Christmas

I grew up in vancouver just north of Portland Oregon and just recently moved to OKC. I remember a few winters with freezing rain there but this one that just hit was a good storm. It's finally melting away today, hopefully it will warm up for you in canada to.

OME all around. SPC UCA. This and that.
Yep. We would get this in Iowa. You could stand outside and listen to all the tree limbs cracking and breaking under the weight of the ice. power lines would drop and people in rural areas would freeze, some to death. Not good, I love Arizona. Pretty though.
