    Found one that says it fills a truck tire in 4 minutes. I suppose if it says it's for a full size truck tire it's gotta be close lol

    I mean it's made specifically for SUVs trucks and rvs
    Anything you would suggest? I know it's not co2 or a 100% dc arb but like you said something is better than nothing

    Duty cycle ratings presented in terms of minutes is misleading information. To be meaningful, duty cycle should be presented as a percentage number.

    For example, the best compressors (read: expensive) have a 100% duty cycle. Which means they will run continuously and never shut down because of heat.

    Without a recovery time, the information smittybilt is providing is somewhat meaningless. But even so, if it is a 50% duty cycle, it would take 40 minutes to recover from the heat. If it runs long before shutting down.

    I am a bit surprised by the 40 minute number. I'm guessing the reality will be less than that. How much less will depend a lot on the tires size, how high a pressure you put in the tire and whether it is 32* or 85* outside.
