I've actually been a Taco owner since 1995 when I bought a 2WD V6 Xtracab LX new. 236k later it was time for it to go to the great dealership in the sky. It needed everything except tires and a battery. Probably $1k just to make it safe and $3k more needed in clutch, timing belt and replacing other aging parts. It was a good truck - never left me on the side of the road. Carried way more weight than it should have.

This week I traded it for a 2010 Access Cab, TRD Sport, SR5 with a manual. (Trade is a bit of an overstatement. They gave me $488.) Manuals are damn hard to find. So far it seems like a nice truck. We'll see if it lasts as long as the '95 did. :D This may become my dd in the winter.

    Other toys in the garage? 2010 BMW S1000RR (it's 1 wheel drive); '09 SLK55 AMG, '09 CTS-V (my wife's)
