Hey guys! My name's Mark, I am brand new to the Tacoma forums. I've been browsing this site for about a month and finally decided to register. Everyone on here seems knowledgeable and friendly. I am the proud owner of a Black 2013 Tacoma Access Cab V6 SR5 4x4. I am wanting to put some nicer rims and bigger rubber on it but I had a few questions. I read all the stickies in this section already. I believe my stock size is 245/75/R16. I was looking into 18 inch wheels. According to the tire calculator on here xxx/60/R18 would be almost exactly the same overall diameter. I don't want it to effect my spedo/odo, I don't want a lift kit or spacers. I would like to know if width effects the odometer at all, and what is the widest I can go without rub and problems? The 245 seem like car tires, I would like them wider to get more grab, especially because I have traction issues in 2wd when I gun it, plus appearance reasons.
This is a set I am interested in so far, I like the Black on Black look. http://www.performanceplustire.com/...eelSize/18/productID/13929/wheelDataID/163400
The 18x8, bolt pattern, offset, and backspace are gibberish to me. Would these work? Could I go 265 or wider without issues?
Sorry for being new in the whole wheels area, I am quite handy though and am good with mechanical/electrical (I am an electrician).

Thanks guys, it's great to be here.
