I have a 2013 Tacoma and my new IPod Shuffle will not play. I have the latest version of the IPod software and the device works fine in our 2013 Camry. Any suggestions?

That is what I did and the display shows the IPod box but refers me to the owners manual to get it to play. The owners manual just tell me to plug it into the USB - not much help.

Sounds like you may need to get the the menu on the HU to see if you need to select for iPod.

you may need to sync your phone to the radio first. They did all of this at the dealership for me. Then everything worked for me with little to no effort

For my 2014, with an older iPod, from the audio page click source then click iPod. If you don't see the iPod, then you need to add the device. My iPhone was added at the dealership. When I used the USB port to play music from my iPod, entune found the device but I had to do the above steps to make it work. Good luck.:)
