Tried doing a search but couldn't find anything.

I've been looking at buying a set of Cooper Discoverer H/T's mainly because they are a decent price ($325 installed at Tire Kingdom after rebate) and I have heard good things about Cooper tires.

But I am worried that these may not be a very good quality Cooper tire, if that makes any sense (being that they are so cheap). Price is definitely a big concern for me but so is quality.

I am in need of good tires and I am looking for a good D/D highway tire that will last awhile.

So does anybody have any experience with these particular model of Coopers?

Other tire recommendations are appreciated as well.

They are re-tread tires that loads of people on here run. They are very cheap and last. I've had my 33" all-terrains for a year now with 10,000 miles on them. No problems and they still look new. I got all 4 for around $550. They're just re-treads on the BFG A/T carcass. There are people on here who are on their 3rd set because they just keep using these when the others wear out. Just lettin ya know...

No, just the tire's on treadwright.com. I didn't know if you set on getting Cooper's or just open to all options since you brought up the price. As far as the tires you posted in the picture I'm not sure about. Never ran Cooper's, only BFG's until I found out about treadwright

ah i see, Im looking more for a local tire buy. Mainly from Tire Kingdom because they offer the lifetime balance/rotate warranty.

I'd normally go for discount tire but the nearest one is 150mi away. :(

Last time I had them, they weren't a terrible tire. They rode smooth but got loud as they aged. Decent snow traction, good wet traction and great on dry pavement. Recently though, I haven't had great luck with Copper Tires but that was with their A/T tires. It's been a while since I've owned the H/T but the ones I had were the same tread pattern, not sure if they changed the rubber compound over the years or not.

Thanks for the info guys, did another look on Tire Kingdom's site and somehow the wrong size got into their search and it was 325 installed for 225/75/15 when i need 265/75/15..so those are going to run 570 installed including road hazard and lifetime rotation/balance...still not bad but not sure if i wanna bite that bullet just yet
