It all depends on what you want in the system...I just installed the DNX5140 in my truck yesterday. It has the navigation built in and is ready to hook up anything else I might want in the future(bt, sat radio, hd, camera, amps, ect). But for now all I wanted was the nav and Ipod...so I went with the dnx5140. As far as the camera goes, yeah...you can just get any aftermarket camera...but kenwood has their own rearview camera and thats the route that im going.

What all do you want in the system? Do you like the volume knob or do you want a larger screen?

they are all touch screen the 5140, 6140 have smaller screens with buttons on the side. the 7140 9140 have the bigger screen that take up the whole headunit and to insert a cd/dvd the unit sides down and shows the hide away insert.

the 7140 and 9140 have this cool feature where the screen moves at angles to reflect glare
