2012 tacoma TRD OR double cab.

i have billy 5100s in the front at 1.75" factory coils.
1.5" blocks in the rear with stock shocks for now.

now the problem: when driving up an embankment, ditch i always take the passenger side going in or up first. The popping noise always occurs when the right (passenger side) is up and the rear is almost maxed out. now i dont recall it doing this before the blocks. the u-bolts are tight and have not moved since installed. everything is lined up properly.

has anyone had this issue? i would think it would be shocks, hoping its not the leafs themselves. anything else i should check?!

Blown o-ring from over flexing your rear?

Check your slip joint, u-joints, double check u-bolts & shackles. All I've got for now.

my concern is will this "noise" "clunk" pop" cause any damage? or is this normal.

Pretty normal. Just keep an eye on those lift blocks as it is common for them to crack and spit out at the worst possible moment. Replace them with a full leaf pack if you are going to wheel often. Mine made crunchy noises before the roll cage-

That's the sound it makes. Guess ill ignore it. And offroad once in a while and it isn't for long. Maybe 20-30 minutes and its nothing to that extreme in that video. Mainly what ill be doing is driving on the beach, in and out of the field, and occasional trails. The u bolts are torqued to 150#s and have not moved a bit. That's for the helpful info guys!

mine makes all kinds of racket! not sure if bed/frame twisting or actual rear suspension but its back there somewhere.

my dad's stock (other than tires) single cab does it too so im not too worried about it.

I have noticed that my aal spring bracket bolts hit fuel tank strap which may be some of it. not possible on stock-leaf rear

My double cab pops and makes noises too. I think it's common for our trucks to make these noises. Nothing bad has ever happened after either.
