TRD exhaust muffler size / DIY TRD exhaust

After hearing that the TRD cat back system uses the same 2.25 size tubing (yes i know its stainless), iv decided to replace just the muffler. Id like to keep it closest to how the trd system would be though. A cheaper DIY version if you will

Does anyone know what the muffler size is on the trd cat back exhaust? (not the inlet/outlet to the piping) id like to use one thats round and similar in size.

Try calling Bosal and asking them what model muffler they used when they developed the trd system

 

OR, I'm sure someone that is helpful will respond and tell you what they have, right out on their truck.

True, but I figured while contacting the manufacturer he could get the actual muffler he wants since he already likes the sound.

Not sure what diff mufflers they offer and wanted to get him the most accurate info, so I figured nobody knows the ins and outs better than the ppl who made it?
