Aux Light Switches

Good Afternoon All,

I haven't seen much on here in the way of switches, so I figured I would share.
I had a '12 Wrangler with Rigid Duallys and I had found some real clean switches on Amazon. They are made by Plasmaglow. They are a circular switch that you can get in either black or silver, and they are a push button style on/off. They also have a lit ring on the edge of the button that you can get in either red, blue, green, or white. You utilize a 3/4" drill bit to cut the hole, and with a screw on backing plate (provided with switch) it securely fits into place and looks real good. I put my switch on the pillar of the jeep, and during the day when not in use it was unnoticeable, and at night the switch was not over bearing, even at eye level. Unfortunately I have no pics from my install, but I have a few from my buddy, and also a generic pic. I hope this helps with anyone looking for switches.

ive been looking at those in the past. Their actually pretty slick little switches. I was looking at the pinouts tho and was wondering what the hell is the blank post for.. IF not wired to anything why the hell is it their lol

Those are it, I know they are a little on the pricey side (they've actually gone up since i bought them about a year ago) but I really liked it. I went with black with the white light.

 

I think it's there to give you the option to wire additional components if you don't want to splice. Keyword is think haha.

 

Its there so you can wire the switch as a normally closed switch instead of normally open. The switch would then be used to break a normally closed circuit instead of connect a normally open. From looking at the diagrams this is what I gathered.

 

Yeah I'm going to have to agree with you on that one.
