Howdy. I've been lurking for a few months. Finally going to post.

I've had an 84 toyota long bed 4x4, 5sp., since early 2000. I loved that truck. 289,000 miles and over half of them mine. It was all stock, had a shell. Did a lot of camping, fire wood hauling and general driving about. Several seasons of snowboarding and it never failed in the snow.

It had been feeling weak for a while and in September it began smoking and missing really bad. Probably rings or maybe the head again. I needed a reliable truck and was tired of wrenching on the old toyota. I've been wanting a Tacoma for some time and finally bought a new 2013 on October 2nd.

It's a superwhite, access cab, V6, manual 6sp. It has the tow package but that seems standard on the V6.
Base model, with the convenience package... cruise control, remote door locks, all weather interior - rubber floor and mats.

Since finding this site, I have; installed the corolla fog lights (mine was pre-wired). intermittent wipers, Putco dome and map lights, and a tractor supply bed mat.
I have a 400 watt inverter but haven't decided where I want to put it yet.

Only 1350 miles so far. I've been to busy to take a road trip yet. Super happy with my new truck!:)

Already trying to figure out what I can afford next. This place is great for finding ways to part with your money.
That Core/Hurst SS shifter sure looks nice...
