4x4 tacomas sell for a couple grand more than prerunners. You can get DC 01-04 prerunners for 8-9k all day (150k mileage average). When you search for the same truck in a 4x4 your looking at prices from $12-$15K with the same mileage.

So your truck being a ext cab 4x4 I see those go for $8-$9k. I see them get bought at auctions for 5-6 grand then resold for the price I stated. The market is different in all states, so figure what it's like in your area.

If it were my truck I'd price it high ($11k) and take no less than $9k

They say, that's what I thought, and in a week their truck/car/boat/bike is sold or \/

1. Person "wants" to know just in case they sell it

2. Response say "its worth X"

3.seller says "no I can get 2x"

4. Seller responds "I'm wasn't going to sell it anyways" when they get their question answered and didn't like the responses.

I'd just give up. OP probably bought in the "high price Tacoma bubble" (got ripped off), dumped money into it and now doesn't want to take a hit. My guess is the truck will go to some rich highschooler who didn't know how to shop.

After looking back through the thread, it appears 5 people answered your original question, "what would you pay" You had two say they would pay $7000, one person at $6000, one at $5000 and one would pay $4000. I was one that said $7000. Is that what your were after( what someone would pay?) I think we all agree tacomas bring top dollar, but unless we are there when the money changes hands, we do not know selling prices, The closest thing to money changing hands is the 5 offers of what people would pay, rather than the area market values from other members. Looking at autotrader nationwide will tell asking prices, but offers, money in hand tells us selling prices.
