Nitto or Toyo A/T tire

Im goin to be putting an 3" lift on my tacoma, and some 285 tires with a 18" rim. Which tire is better Nitto or Toyo A/T tire? I see alot of tacomas more with the nittos then the toyos, r they diff. in anyway?

 

I have some Nitto DG's. I really like them. So far so good for me at least.

 

i think the nitto's are cheaper than the toyo's but not that many places sell toyo either.

 

I have Toyo Open Country ATs......love them

 

I had a set of toyo's on my old truck, I liked them, they did a good job on pretty much every surface, and worn really good. Never had any nitto's.

 

Both good tires. Same company.

 

Nitto is actually owned by the Toyo company. The rubber compound is different between the two tires, where Toyo has a harder rubber. IMHO Toyo has a better tread life over the Nitto's and provides more for your $. It's worth the extra 50$ per tire when you get more mileage out of them.
In saying this, I've researched both alot and I'm picking the toyos. I'm getting my set in a month or so.
