Kenwood DNX690HD steering wheel buttons

    Hows it going guys... I just installed my head unit this past weekend and while I was finishing up before I put everything back I checked to see if my steering wheel buttons worked and they didn't so I tried the wire on wires that for some reason didn't need to be hooked up to anything... so I test it on each and it didn't work... is there another harness that needs to be ordered because I'm stumped.

    Yes, there is a separate harness for the steering wheel buttons. If you didn't buy one, this one will work with your stereo. If you did buy one and the buttons aren't working, double check your wiring.
