    Hello,

I bought my taco used, and it came with JL audio 12" sub in the rear center console, and 2 DLXi polk audio (regular speakers?) in the sides. and an alpine ampifier. the drivers side gets good sound, but the right side doesn't get any.
Could this be a faulty wiring that has maybe been detached? Or something else?

also, when i move the sound to the rear, it sounds like there is a speaker in the roof... Am i just crazy or is there actually a speaker there??:confused::confused:

Thanks alot for the help and please excuse my ignorance:rolleyes:

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to TW!

You've probably checked this already but I want to cover it just in case. Go into the settings on your deck and make sure the balance isn't all the way to the left. The next thing to check is the wiring to make sure the speaker is connected properly. If the balance and wiring are both good, you probably need to replace the speaker.

If your new truck is an access/extended cab, there are speakers in the roof. They're not great speakers, but they're up there.

If the person who did the install used crimps they can come loose. I've seen people who wheel hard loose speakers due to the crimps falling off.
