First, sorry if this has been gone over before. My search did not answer my question, nor did consulting TRD's website.

Looking at the FJ TRD wheels to swap onto my Taco...what's the maximum tire width that they'll support? I'm looking to move to 285s, but can't find if they'll fit on the rim or not.

Obviously if they don't support a wider tire, there's no point outside aesthetics in swapping to them from the TRD Offroad alloys...

285's will fit just fine. I have the Trail team wheels. I'm unsure if they'll fit 305's though.
