    Hello all,

I have a 2011 Tacoma 2WD manual 4 banger access cab. This is my first car, and I got it used. It came with Icon 2.5s in the front, and Bilstein 5100 dampers in the rear. Yet the lift (or maybe just a level?) seems almost the same as the stock ride height.
I was looking into this: http://4x4.fatbobsgarage.com/toyota-tacoma-2wd-5-lug-suspension-275-lift-kit--2005-2013-p7611.aspx

but i was concered there were spacers in that kit.

Excuse my ignorance as I am a 16 year old just learning this stuff, but I have shocks and AALs in the rear, is it possible to add adjustable 5100s with coil overs to my existing set up? So I'm pretty much asking if I can have AALs, shocks, and coilovers.

    Thanks so much:):)

Slim's HID 6000K, JVC double din stereo, 2 12" Kicker Comp, 3" rear blocks Future list: FatBob's strut spacer lift and AAL's, Series 51 pro comp 15x8, Dynomax super turbo muffler, ultra gauge, 31x10.5x15 General Grabbers
So you're basically saying you got a truck with a mid travel kit already installed on it? all you have to do is adjust the icon's upfront to give you a higher lift. I believe they go up as far as 3.5" but youre gonna have a stiffer ride. The kit you have on your truck is 100x better than the strut spacer lift kit from Fatbob's

the front suspension is a coilover. its a spring over a coil. the rear is a spring-over-axle plus shocks.

two completely different types of suspension. you can't put coil springs on the rear and have leaf springs.

I mean you could swap the leafs for coils and link the rear but that's a whole 'nother can of worms you're not ready to open.

what are you trying to do?

It would be a big downgrade if you swapped out C/O's for spacers. If you are looking for a bigger, more noticable lift, adjust the C/O's with a spanner wrench to increase front end ride height. As for the rear, depending on your use, you can keep it how you have it or match the the front with some icons in the rear. Also a new leaf pack will give you a better, more functional ride than just an AAL.
