For the general public mostly budget minded Etc what would you want to have access to ? The best value for dollars

Good shallow mount 10/12s? What's max mounting depth?
Small footprint mono amp to match ? 1200-1800wrms under 7x3x14?
    Mids, components, pa?
    Mid amp? 150x4? Bridgeable ? Or 75x4 f
What I have found is that the Tacoma up front can easily take a 8 inch midbass/mid range driver.

Id like comments or a list sothat I can see what people have and actually want:)

    Thanks gang!

What I need is a 250Amp alternator that fits the stock location. My amp takes 150A running at 1ohm, and I could use the extra power so I don't drop to 12.2V while at an intersection or parked. Anything on that front?

And the 8" midbass sounds interesting, can I use it with the crossover and tweeter that I have now, a JL C2-250?

We would have to look at the response of ur current cross over and make sure that it's in the same ball park for power and freq response

Bolt on alts are in the works for gb.

Im asking these questions as I'd love to go to certain people and put together a great package that's comparable and better than those main name brands( not as high end as the focal and hertz, hybrid audio etc) at a great price.

First I gotta figure out what people actually want

Don't have any pics of the sub as I have yet to take any pics of the box nor have I carpeted the box or finish the rack I plan on doing for it.

How much mounting depth is there behind the seat for a 12/10?

Here's a pic of my setup. I have two Sundown Audio SA-2 10" subs and a SAX1500-D amp. Under the dash I have an Alpine KTP-445U running the front speakers. I would like to get the rear door speakers running, but the amp in the deck died, and I don't want to cut down the power of the Alpine to 45x4. Currently it's running 90x2.

If you look close in my pic, you'll see that I brought the lock bar for the seat back forward about 1/2". It's still secure, because the bolts still have a good 1/2" of bite inthe crossbrace, but I can still put the seat all the way back and lock it in place. And without hitting the bracing bar in the seat itself.

I built mine around my jack and tools. Amps went horizontal across the top, so enclosures stuck out more to accommodate airspace for the 10's

i actually when i had a system behind the seats move my back bench part forward on the mounting bolts and made a bracket to allow the rear hole of the bench to line up with the front hole in the truck, and extended the clips, i gained like 2-3 inches if i rem right.

anyhow this is a good start, im asking these questions as im currently designing a package to present and see if Tw likes it. i cant use my truck as a mock due to my entire truck being stripped ----zman might find out on sunday haha

I need to get some better pictures but, my current set up is:
Pioneer 80PRS, Alpine PDX v9, HAT Clarus 6.5's front and 5.25 rear, single 12 Kicker shallow that I had from a previous set up.

What I will change/ or want to change:

Swap the sub for a JL 13tw5 or completely redo the box/amp rack and put two JL 10tw3's
Will move the tweeters to the sail panels. REALLY wish there were pre-fab aftermarket sail panels or A-pilars.
May install a mid-range driver (3" or 4") in the stock tweeter location.

Now you have my interest piqued. :D Can't wait for your help. I'll look at my grounds on Saturday, see if I can fix them up, but having some experienced eyes look at it will be appreciated.
