Hello all! Ive noticed that near the radiator cap, there a few small drops of radiator fluid. Its not leaking really bad but I did notice that each day, there a few fresh drops of radiator fluid around the cap area. I haven't completely removed the small hose that connects near the cap to check if there is a crack. I currently have the hose zip-tied to the radiator because I dont have those philips tie clips that are normally used for the hoses. Any ideas what these small leaks are comming from? Would it be possible that a small leak could from the radiator cap itself or would it most likely be the hose? I dont have pictures unfortunately but they are small drops of radiator fluid around the cap and hose entrance area. If I replace this radiator hose, will radiator fluid come out? Thanks.

Probably not enough pressure on the hose with the zap strap get a hose clamp..if that doesn't fix it check and see if the seal is ok on the cap might need to be replaced.

If you remove the overflow hose while the engine is cold you shouldn't spill much coolant at all since the level of coolant in the radiator is below the hose when cool.

Get yourself a new hose clamp and if that doesn't get it then try a new radiator cap. Both are cheap ;)

Cut an inch off the overflow hose and reattach. That will likely work.
