    Good Afternoon All,

I was looking around and didn't see anything so I figured it was time to ask.
Has anyone taken their tail lights apart and painted the red reflectors black?
I would assume this would leave a much cleaner look compared to tinting the lens, and if it came down to a legal battle from getting rear ended, you wouldn't lose for having your tail lights tinted. I've read a lot on here about blacking out your head lights, so I would assume it is the same approach for taking your tail lights apart. If anyone has done this please chime in, if not I will most likely be attempting this in the near future.

You can get some on car id.com that are black and look just like the oem stocks. I have them they work great.
