I have a rail mounted headache rack that I got off ebay. I put this box in today. I just took the bed rails off, drilled two holes in the bottom and used J hooks to mount the box. I had to leave it out away from the rack a little so the lid can open.

Don't know if this helps you, but here it is anyway.

These boxes are not all that thick, so I cut some flat stock to brace where it bolts through.

The packaging said 12". I didn't actually measure it though.

Just read your whole reply. Yeah, I wanted a black one too. They discontinued the black version of this box though, and it was cheap. $159 at Lowes.

It's also shallow. It gives me enough space to stow my stuff, but still has room underneath

Sub'd. I'm looking for this same solution. I want a box now, and will eventually add a bed rack.

How’d you do your tonneau cover with the back rack and toolbox? I’ve been wanting to do this but haven’t found anything.

If @opiestaco doesn't return (last seen 4 Nov 2020), these posts of his might help.

Another method for the toolbox/tonneau combo, from @NorthRoad is to make a cutout in the cover and install the box through the hole.

The soft tonneaus also allow the option of having a toolbox completely under the topper, but that adds an extra step when accessing your tools/gear. Photos courtesy of @foxmotox7 and @RobD.
