please keep it simple, tires and wheels

My wife has a 2013 black taco, stock. She wants a little bigger tire (wider) and a fancy rim. We're old, she wants something like chrome rims not really like the old deep dish but something that's not black. NO lift just something that will bolt on. Give me some numbers so I can look on craigslist or maybe find something used. She drives all ex way to work and back. Summer only then back to stock for the winter salt. Thanks

 

265/75/16 or 265/70/17 depending on rim size. That's about as big as you can go with out a lift.

As for wheels, it's whatever you like.

 

16x8 alloy wheels of your choice. Honestly, I'd run oe size 245/75/16 or 265/70/16 P metric tires (assuming you have 16" oe wheels) I'll let other people pipe in on 17" stuff.

 

Have you checked tirerack for pictures of chrome wheels?

 

If I upgrade to alloy rims I have to buy new air pressure sensors and have them set up at the Toyota dealership? The sensors on the steel OE rims can't be used on the alloy rims? Do I have it right?
