hey guys, i know there has probably already been a thread on this but i searched and couldnt find it. heres my dilemma: i have a 2007 pre runner that i want to put a 2.5 inch level on. i am currently running 245/75/16 tires which are basically 30.5 inch tires. i am wondering if i get this level kit, will the tires look way to small in the wheel well? these are brand new tires and i do not want to buy new ones. please be honest, Thanks

There is a reason lifts and bigger tires go hand in hand.

shouldn't look to bad, i would go ahead and get the lift and get tires later on. If you dont like the tires that bad put em on Craigslist and get the size you want just my .02

Honestly, for me your stock tires wouldn't look small, they'd look big, but I doubt it's my opinion that you are concerned with. The 26.9" 15s on my 5-lug don't look unreasonable to me, but I don't give a fuck.

Nobody knows if you will think the tires are too small, most people here can't stand the though of stock tires and height, and my first comment reflected that.

I don't know why anyone would want a leveling kit, just adds more wind resistance to a less than aerodynamic brick. Do people have to be told that it's not cool to have a little rake on a truck?, it isn't obvious to me.

If you are going for Silly, put a 6" DB lift over those donuts. What you are suggesting doesn't really approach silly, though will obviously alter the trucks proportion in a way that will change its appearance. I suspect you will eventually move to bigger tires and a wider stance because, as they say, if the shoe fits...
