    I'm replacing the engine in my 1997 tacoma I have a 3rz that came out of a 95 t100 .The 95 has a distributor the 97 does not will the 95 work in the 97?

    No experience here, but my gut says NO.

    Your computer is not expecting a distributor to send signals to. Wiring harness would be different.
