Everyday I wake up and I am so thankful that I have a roof over my head, a shirt on my back, and food on my table. GOD has blessed me beyond measure. I can honestly say through the grace and mercy of Jesus I am an ex-addict and no longer chained to my sin, He really has set me free. So I am interested to here any testimonies or stories you guys may have. Let's lift each other up with stories of hope and His goodness (Remember He inhabits the praises of His people).

God is great. When iam in a tight spot i just stop and rember that God promised us that he will never burden us with more problems then we can handle. and that is a relief to know that.

In all your ways, know, recognize and acknowledge him and he will direct and make straight and plain your paths. Proverbs 3' 6. If you will truly get to know god and seek him out he will bless your life beyond belief , i am a witness to that. We all have a purpose and a calling some chose to listen, some dont for those who listen , listen closely for he will lead you and communicate thru people, scripture and circumstance. For those who dont listen may he bless you and keep calling.

I spent this past weekend with many people from across this country at a national shoot for the Christian Bowhunters of America.

The local chapter in Kentucky talked about a free camp for kids they hosted recently. As they held a tug-of-war event, the chapter chairman explained to the kids how life was like a tug-of-war. You must hold tightly onto that rope(Jesus) as you are pulled back and forth through lifes battles, sometimes you gain ground, sometimes you get drug through the mud, but you must always grip the rope tightly.

After the game, their was one little boy who was in the front of his team, he was drug through the mud 3 times. He white-nuckled that rope and never let go. He was also a foster child that never got to know a good home life like so many of us take for granted.

He was spotted standing over alone with his head bowed standing in front of a cross that he had just learned the signifigance of during this week of camp.

That boy accepted Jesus into his heart that day. Praise God!!!

Grip that rope tightly and never let go!!
