5100's w/ Eibach springs

    I don't think you should need to compress the spring to assemble the shock with the adjustable collars. However, I'd add some preload to the spring before driving.

    so like they are, then adjust the collar to give them some compression and put them on?

    I'm running 4" Lift Spindles with stock springs on 5100s set at 1.75 and it looks and feels great. You really don't need the eibachs but I will admit they look better than stock :D
